Renowned Saxophonist Kirk Whalum and me in Houston, Texas. I lived and worked in Houston for a few years. Kirk and I share the same hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Kirk currently serves as CEO/President of the STAX Music Academy and the STAX Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis.
