I interviewed Fayard and his brother Harold for two documentaries, the biography of Dorothy Dandridge and for Small Steps, Big Strides, a documentary about blacks in Hollywood. Fayard was a part of the famous dance team the Nicholas Brothers. They were the two greatest dancers who ever lived and one of the most revered dance teams in entertainment history.
